Pawtucket Office Update

The RI Department of Human Services and the RI Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing are partnering to provide ASL Walk-In Customer Support at the DHS Pawtucket Office. ASL/CDI interpreters will be available on the scheduled days at the Pawtucket Office for anyone needing this support. Importantly, customers can also work with DHS at any time to arrange having interpreters available on another scheduled day, as needed. Learn more about ASL walk-in dates here.

Federal Trump Accounts

The federal government has launched Trump Accounts, a savings and investment account program for eligible children. The Rhode Island Department of Human Services does not administer this program, determine eligibility, manage accounts, or collect information for Trump Accounts. Families who want to learn more about the program should review the official federal information and privacy statement before deciding whether to open an account.
