Office Update Due to facility maintenance, the DHS regional office at 195 Buttonwoods Ave., Warwick, will only be open for document drop-off until further notice. All planned appointments and customer interviews at the Warwick office have been rescheduled for other times, locations, or over the phone. The Customer Portal (healthyrhode.ri.gov), the mobile app, the Call Center (1-855-697-4347), and other regional offices remain available.

SNAP UPDATE: September 2022 Benefits Published on Monday, August 22, 2022 Since March of 2020, households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits have been allotted extra emergency SNAP benefits due to the pandemic. This means households will receive extra benefits that bring them to the maximum amount for their household size or $95, whichever is higher. Here is a helpful way to know if you are impacted: My household already receives the maximum SNAP amount for our household size (see table below): You will get $95 a month in extra emergency SNAP payments. My household does not get the maximum amount for our household size: You will get the maximum benefit amount for your household size or $95, whichever is higher. For September 2022, the extra SNAP will come as a supplemental payment on or about September 3rd.
