The RI Department of Human Services is hosting a ‘Staying Informed Webinar Series,’ a training series to help community partners and advocates stay informed on DHS processes.

The series is comprised of two key focus areas. One focus area is on the DHS-2 application and benefit decision notices, where participants gain an understanding on the best way to navigate through the application process on behalf of customers and interpreting notices customers will receive regarding their application.

The second focus area is on Federal SNAP policy changes. These sessions are intended to provide an overview of new federal changes to SNAP policy, which will help participants better support customers who rely on SNAP assistance.

Additional information regarding the two separate training sessions are viewable below. While the trainings are free and open to the public, it is intended for individuals who work directly with DHS customers in some capacity.
