We are excited to announce that this program has been extended! Applications will now be accepted through July 31, 2028!

Effective August 1, 2025, all new and renewal pilot applicants must first apply for regular CCAP using the DHS application process

  • Applicants must meet all regular CCAP eligibility requirements except the income limit of 261% FPL. The pilot income limit remains at 300% FPL.
  • Proof of a regular CCAP application within the last sixty (60) days is required to submit a pilot application/renewal, and proof of the subsequent decision by DHS is required for your pilot application/renewal to be reviewed.
  • If your regular CCAP application is denied due to income but your income is below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), you may still qualify for pilot.

If your pilot benefits are ending in August or September of 2025, we recommend applying for regular CCAP now—ideally thirty (30) to sixty (60) days before your pilot benefit ends.
